In other news, today is Dad's 52nd birthday. We did dinner & a movie at my place last night, and my Aunt Jan stopped over with cake. Today we thought about going out to a movie, but he ended up coming over to watch another movie & eat some of the chicken soup with dumplings that I made with the leftover chicken from the night before. Yesterday we watched The Prizewinner of Defiance Ohio. Which was good, but a bit on the slow side & a little depressing too. Today it was Defending Your Life. Not a bad movie, cute idea, but also not the most exciting thing in the world. :) It would have been better if my Aunt Joan wasn't home today, or even better, if she'd already moved out...but I'll just be happy she wasn't here yesterday too (and that I was finished eating before she started, because she makes so much noise & it's so very gross.) I can't wait for her to leave, my fingers and toes are crossed that the social worker comes through. These 5 months have been really sucky.
