It's like Margaritaville but with Schnapps.

I'm in the mood for a Star Trek: Reboot AU where George lives & Winona is the one who goes down with the ship.  I wonder how all that would have turned out instead...

I'm trying to get to sleep, and having absolutely no luck because story ideas are rushing though my thoughts.  So I'm going to try and get them out, cause I'm tired.  I kinda doubt I'll ever get these turned into stories, because I've rarely finished a story, and never typed out any of my fanfics...which is kindof sad because my "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" fanfic with Queen Lucy and Prince Caspian shacking up wasn't bad for a tween/early teen fic...just five short years later and I'd have Caspian with Edmund...royal nancy boy fun, right??  :-P

Anyway, first for a while I'd had a "what if Michael didn't go to the hospital with Brian?" fic, that I've gone back and forth on a few points, but basically it delt with how much Mikey stunts Brian's growth--and Michael copping out again and again in life.  I think that if Mel got ahold of Brian just a little sooner, Michael might not have come running to Brian (and away from the guy with fake everything)...especially if Michael decided to "make Brian see how much he can't live without me."  By the time he would realize the error of his ways, either he wouldn't be able to get rid of the trick &/or (because I can see him rushing to the bathroom to "freshen up" and trying to call Brian for a rescue) get a hold of Brian (because Bri would shut off his cell after Michael disappointed him.)  So then Justin would be there for everything that night, and might even get to drive the jeep--and also, that would mean that Justin wouldn't show up in a "fag jeep" and might not be outed in such a way. 
I had in one verson where Michael even dated Tracy (possibly even knocking her up) because of pressure.  And then he died.  And everyone learns that he had a whole secret life...and Deb's only consulation is that she gets a grandbaby.

The next story idea has also been in my head for a while: "What if Justin were STRAIGHT?"  I kind of imagine the gang being a little bigger and more diverse...maybe even Brian and the gang are all the same--there's just some extra characters.  Including a no nonsense woman who could be Brian's twin sister, at least personality-wise.  I saw Justin's parents still being up in arms, but not quite as much.  

Finally, this one comes from "Thanksgiving" by Myrna (for the QAF Grocery Store Challenge.  It's a good story--but I can do a Reduced Fiction Verson: Jennifer is a cunt marrying a Republican; Justin is definately not invited to the wedding...or Thanksgiving...or well, anything, because it's a new start for Jennifer and Molly.  (Read: Jennifer is a lazy ass whore who on the plus side is marrying up.)
Ok...I almost understand where Jennifer is coming from...and Justin isn't invited not just because he's gay & can be outspoken, but because he wouldn't leave Brian at home...but I just itch for Jennifer to see the error of her ways.  I tried to imagine the story and only really see it work if: A) Her husband is a child molester and therefore her "second chance for her and Molly" is a bust or B) Molly ends up being a Lesbian and Jennifer's husband leaves her destitute for shaming him.  (I suppose C) her husband turns out to be a closet homo, and yet bars her from seeing her son, amybe even contrubutes to harming her son, might work...I'm just not sure...)   Mostly, I just hate that Jennifer would DARE compromise her ideals and child for money and social class.

Ok...I'm tired and I suspect this doesn't half make sense, but maybe I'll get writing now that i've gotten some of this out.   :-)

Oh, yeah and I want to read some fics that are quality and in the style of Philo's "the apple tree" or any of Vorabiza's stuff, and I REALLY can't wait for updates to most of LisaRoquin's stuff.  :-)
