Argh!

So yesterday my dear Mother headed off to party with her friends & left me the house to myself. That means that I get uninterupted internet time...I can actually read a story, laugh my butt off, drool over some delicious snarry & whatnot, without being told "you've been there for an hour, that's unhealthy!".

So some enjoyable reading I did have. I even got some more cleaning done. I still have 3 loads of laundry to wash, I'm so glad I don't have to drag it somewhere.

And then today I was supposed to go to "Local EdgeFest" with a girlfriend from work, where we'd get to listen to some great groups including NonPoint. Hopefully they'd play their cover of "In the Air Tonight" (they did quite a good job).

Unfortunately, she called today to cancel & ask if she could give my ticket ti friends who would help her move tomorrow...and with everything that's been going on in her life, I just couldn't say no.

So now, my plans are cancelled, I've hit a bit of a dry spell in new/updated fanfics & I absolutely don't feel like doing anymore cleaning....yuck!

I wish I didn't have early classes mondays & then work after, or I'd just go out tonight & have a ball...I really need to go out soon though, I haven't been out in months & it's been forever since I went dancing with my boys!

Well, now that I've bored anyone who actually might read this drivel, maybe I'll hunt for something to read.

Ok...I'm becoming quite demented, but that's ok. I searched for some Amanda Peet photos & was able to make a little icon of girl!harry that just makes my day.

I'm lovin the whole concept of girl!harry where Harry was a boy and was changed into a girl. Talk about gender identity crisis! And even if Harry already knew he was gay or bisexual, she'd still have quite a battle to make a life for herself.

I love iulia_linnea's "Remembrance and Reunion" most of all. Stories with goblins facinate me, and there's quite an involved plot. And of course, a sexy Severus makes any story better, especially when he isn't just a one-dimensional sadistic bastard.
