“And you’re going to love the Tower. Just think of the historical things that happened there,” Justin enthuses. “Lady Jane was beheaded there. And Anne Boleyn. The little princes were walled up there, left to die.”
“And these things turn you on. You‘re very twisted,” Brian says. “I like that about you.”
The taxi pulls up with a squeal of tires. Justin sees the puddle and nimbly takes a quick step back. Brian is not so lucky. He stares forlornly down at his now-soaked pant legs.
“Could be fucking on the beach,” Brian mutters under his breath. “Getting sand in places that sand is never supposed to go.”
